Read what has been said about Pete's workshops:
"I would like to thank you very much for taking the time to come to
speak at our conference. It was an excellent presentation and very stimulating
for DOSs who have to inspire and lead teachers every day".
Michael Carrier, Executive Director, International House World Organisation.
IHWO Directors' of Studies Conference, January 2007.
"Pete's inspirational yet down-to-earth, practical approach to using
IT in the ELT/ESOL classroom has been much appreciated by our DELTA trainees,
- he has inspired them to go off and do it all for real as evidenced by
their experimental practice and other teaching assignments. We open the
training session to all our teachers as well as DELTA trainees and it says
much for Pete's reputation and quality of presentation that so many willingly
give up a Saturday afternoon to come to his session. We can't recommend
him highly enough."
Barbara Buxton, Warwickshire College, Leamington Spa, UK. Workshop for DELTA trainees, January 2007.
Pete's workshops for ELTAS (English Language Teachers' Association Stuttgart)
always draw a crowd, and his last workshop for us: Controversies in Language
Teaching, at the end of 2005, was no exception. Language teachers can be
a demanding bunch of people to talk to and so presenters always have to
be up-to-date, informative, and on the ball. These comments from teachers
who attended Pete's workshop show that he succeeded:
"Pete Sharma really got us out of our armchairs"
"A really interesting and thought provoking workshop"
"Wonderful workshop; I really think we should have Pete at least every
year. Whatever he does is informative as well as entertaining".
